Pancharangi

Finally, I am writing about Pancharangi. The combination of Shreya Ghoshal – Mano Murthy – Yograj Bhatt – Jayanth Kaikani is back!! What more can anyone say when this superb combo associated to create another gem. Who can forget the beautiful Araluthiru, Ivanu Geleyanalla, Na Naguva Modalene, etc.As I already told you before, Shreya has sung two songs in the movie. Both are solos by Shreya. Music has been composed by Mano Murthy.

Let me talk about the song which has caught my attention since the day it got released. This song is so special that it has easily become one of my top most favorites songs of Shreya. I would, anyday rate this in Top 20 favorite songs of mine by Shreya. Its titled "Ninnaya Nalumeya". The moment I heard this message, I immediately messaged Kiran Raj that this could be Araluthiru - Part 2 and I will always strict to this point. The song is titled "Ninnaya Nalumeya" and runs for approximately 5 minutes. The song starts with a mindblowing piece played on violin which continues for 30 seconds and then Shreya starts the song with her mellifluous voice.I seriously don't know how to express my emotions on Shreya's singing, beautiful composition by Mano Murthy. This song has left such impact on me which Araluthiru had left some years back. After hearing this track, my respect for Shreya - Mano has increased. He has used beautiful instruments like Guitar, violin, etc. One more thing I noticed in the song is that there is a very unique sound which repeats in the song many times. The interludes are simply amazing, supported by Shreya's harmony. There are two antaras in the song and both are composed on a different tune and the last antara is even more beautiful.Hats off to Shreya and Mano Murthy.I, seriously bow to this combo. No words can describe such songs!!Truly amazing!!This will always be a very very special song and will be in my memory till my last breathe.

Next song is "Hudugaru Beku" and its a completely different genre when compared to the track discussed above. If you people remember, then I also pasted the trailer of this song some days ago. Its a peppy number sung by Shreya, with some chorus parts by Chetan (who also sang Sye Sye Chakora with her). It runs for 5 minutes approximately. Versatile Shreya has modulated her voice to suit the theme of the song.It starts with a tune played on guitar and flute followed by awesome harmony by Shreya. She has completely modulated her voice and it sounds awesome , as usual. This would be one of my favorite peppy songs of Shreya. Chetan has given good support to Shreya in backing vocals. Shreya has some awesome western harmony in the second interlude.

Please don't miss to hear these songs, specially Ninnaya Nalumeya. If you are a music lover, then please please go for it!!

ps: I would recommend you all to also hear the instrumental version of Ninnaya Nalumeya. And I'll post about Jackie and other 3 songs of Shreya tomorrow because I want this post to stay as a latest post for atleast one day.

Hi Nishant :)

I listened to the song " Ninnaya Nalumeya" after reading your post. It's very melodious romantic mood song. I loved it. Have no clue about what Shreya is singing but it takes me far away. I loved the chello part, magical. It is indeed a all time song that will be remembered after years. It is a good rithmic song yet a dramatic song. The voice of Shreya and the chello gave a dramatic influence. Now I know why Shreya loves to spend time recording songs.

Hi Nishant,

I am sure you would love the lyrics and the translation...considering that it has become one of your All Time Favourites :)

Well...You are absolutely right when you say it is Araluthiru - 2...Its a great composition with marvellous rendition by Shreya as always...But unfortunately...it is likely to meet the same fate as Aralutiru in Mungaru Male...I mean...it might end up being used just in the background of the film...that too 2-3 lines only...

The reason being Mano Murthy is at it again...Two songs with same tune...with different lyrics...one for Sonu and one for Shreya...Only the former gets promoted...while the latter remains on the album as an additional prop...

'Udisuve Belakina Seereya...' by Sonu in the same album is all over the channels now...I somehow fear what happened to Aralutiru in Mungaru Male and Manasalle Maataduve in Geleya might happen to this song as well...

It would no doubt be a huge hit among us...Shreya's fans...but might just stay out of public domain...unless Yogaraj Bhat is sensible enough to give the song its due...Hope he is listening!!!

And the good news is that 'Hudugaru Beku' is all over the channels too :) Its likely to be a humongous hit...May be it is already...

Wow!!
Thanks a million for the lyrics Kiran :)..

And yes, I seriously dnt like when the male singer is singing d other version of Shreya's song and moreover, the male one gets promoted..I hav also seen dis in d case of Odi Bandenu and many other Kannada songs..Such marvellous Kannada songs of Shreya have been unehard by music lovers jst bcoz of lack of promotion by Yograj..Thats really sad!!And we Shreya fans are not happy with this at all and as u said, I really hope that Yograj Bhatt reads this!

Its just more than a song. A perfect 'more than a song'. And by the way, i unexpectedly met Jayanth Kaikini today in KEA CET seat selection authority and he had come for seat selection process of his son.. So happy that i met him.

Ninnaya…nalumeya lokake is one of the best songs of Shreya in 2010. Even though Araluthiru song not used completely in movie, the song is a huge hit just because of Shreya and this song also will be super hit among people because of her.
