Dhoni (Tamil)

I am starting with the newly released Tamil songs of Shreya! They released just today.

The movie is titled “Dhoni”.Music is composed by Ilayaraja.

Hope you guys remember the unforgettable songs of Sri Rama Rajyam in which Shreya sang 4 songs for Ilayaraja!

Shreya has sung two songs..one duet with Naresh Iyer and other is a solo!

1.Vilayatta Padagotty (Solo)

This track is a solo by Shreya. The song has a duration of 4 minutes 47 seconds. It’s a typical Ilayaraja song. The track starts with chorus singing. Shreya has changed her voice according to the need of the song. The instrumentation has been kept very light. Its a slow peaceful song. It seems to be a typical village track sung in Tamil Nadu (just guessing). Both the interludes are superb, especially the second interlude containing violin piece. The antaras are sung by Shreya are amazing as well.. I really wish I could understand Tamil. I would have been able to understand the mood of the song better. To all music lovers, do not miss this track! :)

2. Chinna Kanniley (Duet by Shreya and Naresh Iyer)

The track runs for 4 minutes 40 seconds. Its a duet with Naresh Iyer. As far as I could understand, its a romantic track. The song starts with Shreya singing with light piano piece playing in the background. The instrumentation is superb in this song as well. I really like the way Ilayaraja manages both the voice and instruments. I really liked the way chorus entered into the scene at 0:40 just after Shreya ended her lines. Naresh enters after the first antara and sings the first few lines of second antara but according to me, he has not been able to do justice with the feel Shreya has put into the song.His voice sounded a bit low..no offence

Both are beautiful songs. After a long time, I got to hear those beautiful instrumentation of Ilayaraja with Shreya singing the songs!

Ps: The awards Shreya has won so far in this year has been updated in “Awards in 2012” bar!

Sorry for the absence

Hello friends.I am back!!

Sorry for the absence..I stopped for some while because majority of fans were active in the fanclubs I have created in Twitter and Facebook.

But I have finally made up my mind to start with blogging again!!

Meanwhile, there are quite a few songs I have not reviewed..I’ll start with newly released songs of Shreya now..

Hope you guys didn’t miss the masterpieces sung by our Nightingale..Some of my favorites are Nee Mohisu, Usiro Bido, the songs from Aparajita tumi,etc ..The list is endless..and how to forget Chikni Chameli and Ooh La La!!!

Encyclopedia of Shreya (Newly named by her :P)

Met My God - 6

Yayyy..I met Shreya di again yesterday at the concert! (Qutub Festival)/ I was so lucky to have met her again. All is God's grace and thanks to all my well wishers.

She sang all her hits including Teri Meri and Ooh La La, She sang Barso Re, Deewangi, Jadoo Hai, Agar Tum, etc ad at the last, she sang two of the Lata Mangeshkar numbers.. i.e. Ye Zindagi and Lag Ja Gale.

Its one of the best cocnerts of Shreya I have attended so far.Thank you once again Shreya di..U Rock! :)

Shreya's first advertisement (Multi lingual)

As you all must be aware that Shreya had shooted for the very first time for an advertisement for Joy Alukias!!

Shreya di’s expressions are much better than any other leading actress today! But I would sincerely request Shreya to never take up acting. I would just like her to see singing, singing and only singing :)

Met My God - 5

Yes, I met my idol Shreya Ghoshal again the 5^th time on 23rd July! :) ..I couldn’t post the 4^th part because of some reasons.Coming to the recent meeting, Shreya di had tweeted “Now- Sleep. :) 2mrw delhi! :)” ..And I couldn’t believe it because there was no news of her coming to Delhi. I was very excited but on the other hand, I was equally sad as I was thinking whether I’ll be able to meet her this time as it had been more than 9 months that we met!

I didn’t sleep that day (my twitter and FB friends must be aware of that). I finally slept at 5am and woke up at 12 noon. I was waiting for the sun to rise so that I could get in contact with Shreya’s mother to get to know anything related to her concert! I finally got in contact with her at 3 and before I asked her, she told me about the concert but she herself had not come with Shreya this time as her father was accompanying her this time! I asked her mother if I could meet her this time! She said she could try but sadly, she told ,me that Shreya had forgotten her cell phone in Mumbai and her manager’s cell phone was not reachable! But since Aunty takes me as her own son, she didn’t let me lose the hope and kept trying and finally, I got in contact with her manager. He said that I could come. I was super happy after the 3 hours sadness and praying to Guruji continuously. It was 6pm that time and I was already late. I reached the venue around 7pm and fortuntately, my Shreya didi was there at the backstage and I entered the room! She first noticed me and said , “You are looking very changed..She actually said “bilkul risht pusht lag rahe ho”..Haha! She liked my outfit a lot and complemented 2 -3 times for it. I was super happy. I asked her for a photograph but she said “Sit, there is more time” . I asked her about X Factor and she said it was going good. I also asked her about her foot. I was thinking if it’s a dream and suddenly, someone came to call her as some dancers wanted a snap with her! She told that she would be back in a few minutes. In the meanwhile, I talked to her father for the first time.He asked about my education :).He is again, so humble liker his whole family. I took his blessings and Shreya entered the room again. And then, someone came to call her for the concert and we took the snap and I was very happy to have met my Idol after 10 long months :)…And then, luckily enjoyed the whole concert by her. She started with Silsila Ye Chahat Ka and sang quite a few numbers like Wada Raha, Tumhe Jo Main Dekha, Chalo Tumko Lekat Chalein, Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai, O Bekhar, Ami Je Tomar and not to forget, she sang her recent hit Saathiya for the very first time in a concert :)..

Thank you God and Guruji for turning impossible to possible. Anyway, impossible says that I m possible ;) ..hehe ..Thank you all for your blessings and last but not the least, million thanks to Shreya’s mom and her manager for helping me out :) ..Loads of Love and Hugs :)
