Shreya sings in Dulha Mil Gaya

With the completion of the 4th and final schedule on 7 separate sets in bombay between the 24th of November, 2008 and the 10th of December, 2008, 95% of the entire shooting of Viveck Vaswani’s ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is now complete. The film has been shot extensively in Bombay, Trinidad, Tobago, and the interiors of Maharashtra, including Pune, Wai and Panchgani.

Confirms Viveck Vaswani, “The entire star cast of the film, including Shah Rukh Khan, participated in the schedule. With the exception of one Qawalli to be picturised on Shah Rukh khan and Sushmita Sen in February, all of Shah Rukh Khan’s work in the film is complete.”

The film stars Fardeen Khan, Sushmita Sen, Mohit Chadda, Tara Sharma, Johny Lever, Parikshat Sahni, Bina Kak, Howard Rosemeyer, Suchitra Pillai, Viveck Vaswani and introduces Isshita Sharma, along with Shahrukh Khan in a very important special appearance.

The film is produced by directed by Mudassar Aziz. ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is also considered to be special since it is first Bollywood film to be shot in the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

“We had limited time, limited resources, limited everything, and yet we pulled off shooting for the film. My director Mudassar Aziz is a hero. New and young, he was shooting with a superstar called Shah Rukh Khan in his very first film and yet he made it possible in spite of all the constraints”, says Viveck fondly about the man who held the reins together for ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’.

‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ has music by Lalit Pandit and lyrics by Mudassar himself. 7 songs have been sung by Daler Mehendi, Amit Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Adnan Sami, Shreya Ghoshal, Anushka Manchanda and others. Ahmed Khan and Howard Rosemeyer are the choreographers

Nee Sokalu

Two days ago,I wrote a post for Shreya's new Kannada song "Moda Modala" and she's ready with another Kannada song "Nee Sokalu".Music is given by V.Harikrishna and finally,its a solo......so,double treat for us.The song lasts till 4 minutes 42 seconds.I always get evry happy when there is a solo of Shreya.I dnt know how to describe this song.Its a perfect blend of Carnatic and Classical music,though its not a classical song.Shreya rocks as usual.The way Shreya takes the murkiyan is just outstanding.Its a gr8 song and sure to stay on my ipod for long.

Moda Modala

I guess the last Kannada song of Shreya was the melodious Odi Bandenu.I still cant get over with this song.I just love it.Anywayz,lets come to Shreya 's new Kannada song Moda Modala from the movie Shivamani.Its a duet between Shreya and Karthik and it has music by Veer Samarth(seems new to me).I was thrilled at the first hearing of this song.The way Shreya puts expression in every song is something which needs a big applause.This is a romantic track and seems very fresh.As i always say that i will just give u information regarding the forthcoming projects and concerts of Shreya.So,I just give u the idea of how the song is.Anywayz,Again a chartbuster!!!!!!!!!!

Shreya sings in Chandni Chowk To China

Shreya's combination with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has always been awesome.I am very happy that finally,they have realised the talent of Shreya and is using her in mostly every movie since Salam-e-Ishq.Here comes another good news for all of us that Shreya has sung a duet with Shankar Mahadevan in the most awaited movie "Chandni Chowk To China"directed by Nikhil Advani who also directed Salam-e-Ishq.The song which Shreya has sung is titled "Tere Naina" and has lyrics by Rajat Arora and music is given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.Though I have not heard this track but I have a feeling that this song is gonna be a big chart buster.Now,what we all can do is wait for the music release!!!

Shreya sings in Raaz 2!!!!

Shreya's combination with Bhatt Productions has always been mindblowing.Be it Agar Tum Mil Jao from Zeher,be it Jadoo Hai Nasha and Chalo Tumko Lekar from Jism or be it the songs of Saaya.All songs were different and were chartbusters and ofcourse,my personal favourites.
Since when the Bhatt Bros. decided to make a remake of Raaz,I was very excited about it because I knew it would have a song of Shreya but was not sure of music director.But now the track listing has released and Shreya has one duet with Sonu Nigam in Raaz 2.The song is titled "Soniye".But still,nobody is sure about the music director but I am quiet sure that the music of this song is by Raju Singh.Many websites have also given the music review of Raaz 2 but its a not a full fledged music review.Its just give an idea that the song belongs to "Bheege Hoth Tere" mood which is a soft rock duet by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.

New Marathi Album of Shreya

After the super success of ‘Mazhi Gaani’ – ‘Vaishali Samant’, ‘Avadhoot Gupte’ and ‘Swapnil Bandodkar’, now its time to hear ‘Mazhi Gaani – Shreya Ghoshal’. The album includes 10 Marathi tracks sung by Shreya Ghoshal. The album will have songs portraying the versatility of singer Shreya Ghoshal. The album includes tracks like ‘Hari Ha Mazha’, ‘Vaat Sare Timirachi’, ‘Ajun Taralate’, ‘Kai Bai’, and ‘Chanchal Ha Manamohan’, ‘Pankh Nave’ and patriotic songs like ‘Vande Mataram’. Shreya has sung many Marathi songs in her career so far.

Again, Shreya will rock here!!!!

Shreya sings for D.Imman again!!

There has been only one song from Shreya-D.Imman till date which was Unnai mathiri.Now,we r gonna hear another song from this combo from the Tamil Movie Iyntham Padai.Well,I have not heard the song yet,so cant write much about it.Though i am sure,this song is gonna be rocking like all songs of Shreya.The song is titled "Aaradi Rakshasano" sung by Shreya,Shail Hada(Saawariya title track fame) and Kumar Sanu.

Lets hope this song will top the charts.

Shreya at Yuvvraaj's Music Bash with the entire cast

When you talk about music, Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraaj is topping the charts everywhere..

Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods, Filmcity witnessed the success party of Yuvvraaj on 17th Nov.2008. the celebrity list included the whole cast of the film Yuvvraaj (Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Zayed Khan, Anil Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, A.R. Rehman, Gulzar, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Kishan Kumar).

While Salman and Zayed Khan had fun pulling Anil’s leg all the time, Katrina Kaif had kept it to herself all the time (reading some book most of the time). The spectacular babe had come all the way from Goa, just for a day so that she could make it to the success of Yuvraaj’s music.

A.R. Rehman, Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal wooed the media and press by humming a few lines from the movie.

Gulzar Sahab was very much complimented by everyone, especially by Subhash Ghai (for his lyrics, offcourse). The combination of the three (A.R. Rehman, Subhash Ghai and Gulzar) have come together after 9 years. Their last combined effort was seen in Taal (1999).

Everyone was looking great as usual. Katrina was looking stunning in a golden backless gown.. .The event was hosted by Siddhartha Kannan, who was certainly at his best that time.

Light and heavy humors (mostly by Salman and Zayed) filled in the black space and the event was a success for sure.

Shreya sings two songs in Ghajini

Here cums two more numbers from Shreya-Rahman combo.Shreya sings in one of the most awaited movie of the year "Ghajini".Shreya has two numbers in Ghajini,one duet and one solo.
The duet is titled "Kaise Mujhe"(most probably the romantic number) and the solo is titled "Lattoo Lattoo).I am very happy that finally,Rahman has started using her in mostly every movie.She also has Dilli 6 and Blue to her credit(both by Rahman).I am sure Shreya will fetch all the awards again this year.
