Dil Ne Mere Dil Ne - Tum Hi To Ho

Movie: Tum Hi To Ho

Song: Dil Ne Mere Dil Ne

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal & Udit Narayan

Music: Anand – Milind

Review

It’s a long 7 minutes 29 seconds track, composed by Anand - Milind for whom Shreya sang many songs between 2003 – 2006. The4y hardly composed in one or two movies after that. Anyway, coming to the track, as expected, it has a 90s flavour to it. Though the song is not extraordinary, but Shreya’s voice can even put life in a rock, so this song works only because Shreya has put life to it :)..And sorry to say, I didn’t find Udit Narayan’s voice impressive here.

Conclusion

Nice romantic track. Anand Milind could do much better though.

Vidhuramee Yathra - Gaddhama (Malayalam)

Movie: Gaddhama

Song: Vidhuramee Yathra

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal & Hariharan

Music: Bennet Veetrag

Review

This post is about the new Malayalam track of Shreya titled “Vidhuramee Yatra”. Rest of the other information have been mentioned above. The track runs for 4 minutes 11 minutes. It starts with a bhaunting tune, having an Arabic touch. Shreya starts the song with her mellifluous voice. Hariharan has given good support to Shreya. Wish I could understand Malayalam, so that I could give a better review but whataver I get to understand by hearing the composition, I write it here! The first interlude is awesome, specially the line where the chorus singer sings Allah… Shreya starts with the first antara. She, as usual, sings brilliantly and puts some classical touch in the antara which is a treat to hear.

Conclusion

A very different kind of song, with lots of new innovations by Shreya. Do not miss!

Tolakari Chinukai - Prema Kavali (Telugu)

Movie: Prema Kavali

Song: Tolakari Chinukai

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal & Ranjith

Music: Anoop Rubens

Review:

This post is about Shreya’s Telugu track “Tolakari Chinukai” sung for Anoop Rubens. Shreya had earlier sung two solos for him, one being Enni Ashalo (my most favorite Telugu song) and the other one, peppy number Vaade Vaade. The previous mentioned two songs ere different from each other and with no surprise, the new song "Tolakari Chinukai" is again from different genre! The track runs for 4 minutes 44 seconds. Its a peppy, yet sensuous tune. Shreya starts with the song and Ranjith follows her in a little higher scale. The first interlude before the second stanza is a nice blend of carnatic and western beats. Shreya, the princess of expressions has again modulated her voice to suit the theme of the track.

Conclusion:

A nice track, witth interesting instruments..as usual sung beautifully by Nightingale Shreya :)
